Race packets can be picked up on October 6th and 7th from 12:00PM to 7:00PM at YMCA Fairfax County Reston. The YMCA Center can be found at: 12196 Sunset Hill, Reston, VA 20190.
Race-day registration will be held on-site from 5:30AM to 8:00AM at the surface parking lot at Reston Town Center.
Runner's Bib:
The timed 5K will use state-of-the-art Chrono D-tags. Your D-tag will be affixed to your bib number. It will need to be detached and placed thru your shoelaces per instructions provided at packet pick-up. Bib numbers and timing tags are not transferable, no entry refunds will be made, and for safety reasons, no strollers or pets are allowed on the course.
Restrooms:
Portable restrooms will be located adjacent to the start line.

0.0 Miles: Start Line on Fountain Drive at intersection of New Dominion Parkway
0.4 Miles: Cross Baron Cameron Avenue
0.5 Miles: Left on Stevenage Road
0.5 Miles: Turn Around on Stevenage Road
0.5 Miles: Continue on Stevenage Road
1.0 Miles: Right on Reston Parkway
1.2 Miles: Cross Baron Cameron Avenue
2.0 Miles: Right on Sunset Hills Road
2.4 Miles: Right on Town Center Parkway
2.7 Miles: Right on Market Street
3.1 Miles: Finish on Market Street (adjacent to Fountain)
Water:
It is imperative that runners drink plenty of water prior to, during, and after the race. Water will be available prior to the race at the start line. The water station on the route is located on Reston Parkway– approximately two hundred yards before the turn onto Sunset Hills.
Parking:
The Reston Town Center provides ample parking, with over 7,000 spaces, which are available in six garages and one surface lot.
The Start Line:
The start line is located at the intersection of Fountain Drive and New Dominion Parkway. Please be in the starting area no later than 8:15AM and seed yourself based on your anticipated speed – timed runners to the front, followed by non-timed and walkers based on speed.
Finish Line:
The 5k finish line will end adjacent to the Reston Town Center fountain and pavilion.
Switching Events:
The switching of events between the timed and non-timed will not be allowed.
Medical:
Your safety is our main priority! Please run safely and smartly. If you begin to feel ill while on the course – STOP – and look for your closest course marshal.
Refunds:
There will be no refunds allowed.
Timing and Finishing:
Results will be posted Saturday, October 8th by 6:00PM.
Awards Ceremony:
The awards ceremony will take place from 10:15AM to 10:45AM at The Reston Town Center pavilion. You must be present to receive your award!
